[OmniOS-discuss] Whither 64bit system perl?

Trying to build DBD::mysql against a 64bit MySQL install, and running into some
problems.

/usr/perl5/5.14.2/bin/perl: ELF 32-bit LSB executable 80386 Version 1, dynamically linked, not stripped, no debugging information available
/usr/perl5/5.14.2/bin/i386/perl: ELF 32-bit LSB executable 80386 Version 1, dynamically linked, not stripped, no debugging information available
/usr/perl5/bin/perl: ELF 32-bit LSB executable 80386 Version 1, dynamically linked, not stripped, no debugging information available

Is there a 64bit perl hiding somewhere? I was expecting to find some isaexec
wrappers! ;-)

OmniOS _does_ ship mixed modules:

/usr/perl5/5.14.2/lib/i86pc-solaris-thread-multi-64int/auto/Sun/Solaris/Kstat/Kstat.so: ELF 32-bit LSB dynamic lib 80386 Version 1, dynamically linked, not stripped, no debugging information available
/usr/perl5/5.14.2/lib/i86pc-solaris-thread-multi-64/auto/Sun/Solaris/Kstat/Kstat.so: ELF 64-bit LSB dynamic lib AMD64 Version 1, dynamically linked, not stripped, no debugging information available

Cheers.
