FYI,
I've just pushed a fix for the OpenSSL build that delivers the man
pages into /usr/share/man, but keeps them segregated in their own
sub-section directories (man1ssl, man3ssl, etc.), as a couple of them
overlap with system references.  This enables a user to find all the
SSL man pages even without the proposed profile.d directory addition.

For those that overlap with the system (passwd.1 and errstr.1), one
gets the SSL version with, e.g.:

man -s 1ssl passwd
