Hi everyone,

As promised: here's the general public release of the toolchain I wrote for managing KVM virtual machines on OmniOS. Copy of the original announcement:

qemu-toolkit is a small collection of tools to help with running virtual
machines on Illumos/OmniOS.

Installation:

gem install qemu-toolkit

Please refer to the above website for more detailed installation
instructions, including how to set up the base OS.


History / Comments:

This is the first ever release to a broader public. We've been using
these tools at our company[1] for a few months already. This can help
you build a great VM infrastructure/ private cloud, provided you know
what you're doing.
