Filip,
It looks like buildctl is unable to deal with the shell variable in
the PKG line of perl/build.sh and that is the root cause of your
problem.  We don't need to be that clever in the perl build, so I'm
working on fixing that, but in the mean time you can just cd into the
perl/ directory and run ./build.sh to get those packages.
