[OmniOS-discuss] Panic when shutting down vmware guest with tools installed

This is not omnios-specific - I've had the same (consistent) behavior from
OpenIndiana 151 (all recent releases.)  If you install the vmware tools
and subsequently try to shutdown or reboot, you get a 'bad mutex' panic. 
I opened an illumos bug some time ago, but I don't think it was ever
fixed.  I will try to track down the illumos bug number...
