[OmniOS-discuss] some problems with last update to bloody omnios-8d266aa 64-bit

I'll be pushing a lot of new stuff into bloody very shortly.  While the
current bloody is a bit of a mess and incomplete, I don't think much in
there is broken...  So, I've been working locally for the last few weeks
trying to get things updated without breaking everyone every single day.
