[OmniOS-discuss] OVA File downloads for vmware

Hey guys,

I am downloading an OVA vmware image right now, but my browser is
recognizing it as a text file so it isn't bothering to look and see how big
the file actually is. Anyway, it's downloading it but it has no idea how
big the file actually is, so it says 'unknown time remaining - 400mb
downloaded'

I was just wondering if anyone else thinks it's a good idea to compress the
images so they download as a binary file instead of a text file, making
this a non-issue.
