[OmniOS-discuss] OmniOS r151006 AMIs now available on EC2

I'm pleased to announce that Amazon EC2 AMIs of r151006 (generated from 151006c) are now available for public use in all EC2 regions!

These AMis include an updated GRUB which fully supports 006's inclusion of LZ4 compression in ZFS.

Note: The OmniOS AMI community page on AWS still mentions 004, however. A new page listing the 006 AMIs will be put up whenever Amazon gets around to approving the new page text, which could take some time given past experiences.
