The short answer is that developers need hardware and access to programming
information for that hardware.  If you can help make that happen, it'd be
much appreciated.  Dan McDonald at Nexenta has done a lot of work on
mpt_sas/mr_sas in the past, and Keith Wesolowski at Joyent would also be a
good recipient of test gear.
