hi, while new here, facing a lot of problems while accessing documentation
at the console. literally had to boot off ubuntu-live, copy the general
administration contents off the wiki, paste them into libre-office writer
and get a printout.

the document was totally worth the effort. :)
but, it's quite a pain to not have access to it while at the console.

an alternative would be to build the documentation as a set of html pages
(http://devio.us/~mayuresh/omnios/) and have some text-mode browser
in the package repository.
also, essential would be a firstboot/afterboot manpage which shows how
to access such hyperlinked documentation after network setup.

please take a look at the above mentioned page, it's multi-device viewable
and is quite accessible even via lynx at the console. :)

being honest, i'd started off with the same for smartos, but, now that i've
completely migrated to omnios, i believe i should invest my time and energy
out here, i know it will be worth it. :)
