Ha ha - never mind! Sometimes, I find it enough to chat about such
issues with someone.
I do have to admit, that on the 012 system, none of the ixgbe ports were
already in use. You provided mental care and that alone helped. ;)
Besides, you' re able to make something of the illumos sources - one
thing that really escapes me…
