hi,

maybe handy for anyone trying to get this package operational.

Obviosly, you need to add the publisher ms.omniti.com first.

Then add the packge. After which, import the xml service schema in
/opt/apache22/conf/:

svccfg import /opt/apache22/conf/http-apache.xml

After wich, you can enable/disable the service.

Configure /opt/apache22/conf/httpd.conf to your needs.

If after editing httpd.conf and verifying its syntax with
/opt/apache22/bin/httpd -t the syntax is ok and apache2 does not start with
the unhelpful error

 Feb 14 21:46:21 Executing start method ("/opt/apache22/bin/httpd -f
/opt/apache22/conf/httpd.conf -k start"). ]
[ Feb 14 21:46:21 Method "start" exited with status 1. ]

adding the hostnanme to the hosts file fixed it for me
