what is a “freeze”? while its frozen:

can you ping it (getty or other console related issue)

does the shell on the console respond? (network stack issue)

tapping the num lock key on a PS2 console keyboard light the num lock light? (hardware issue)

forcing a dump will let us search the running stacks:
