It's there!

So to test it, utter:

	ifconfig e1000g0 plumb <IP>/<netmask> up

e.g.

	ifconfig e1000g0 plumb 10.21.12.5/24 up

I'd suggest reading the manual on ipadm(1M), ifconfig(1M), and friends.  Much of what you want to do from here is documented.
