[OmniOS-discuss] Building illumos-gate on OmniOS progress

This is good for OmniOS and very good indeed for illumos, and the closer to
a perfectly clean build the more easily people are motivated to help make
it perfectly clean. What's not to like? Push it up.
(I don't believe my opinion's worth anything much here, but want to cheer
from the sidelines!)
