Why not compile the smart? It's so simple. Our system it's working but
not omni. I used it on Openindiana and Hipster. I tested our SSD in
short time then I give up it uses.
My system used 150GB/day. I decided I give up the usage.
The 199 error message shows me the bad IT version. Definitely not HDD
error. Now that counter is stopped. This command is working too:
root at hipster:/home/brogyi# smartctl -A -d sat,12
/dev/rdsk/c8t50014EE003CCD190d0
smartctl 6.3 2014-07-26 r3976 [i386-pc-solaris2.11] (local build)
