You need to match ONNV_BUILDNUM in illumos-omnios's .env file with whatever you wish to ONU:

# SET ONNV_BUILDNUM to override the current "151015" of OmniOS.
ONNV_BUILDNUM=151015

Make sure those are in your env file if you wish to ONU r151015.
