Yeah, I know. I know of a number of threads, that circle around HA
setups and I yet don't even know, how I will do it. I am running an
Oracle VM cluster and currently two different setups provide the shared
storage for it. One of them is this OmniOS box, where the 9207 went nuts
and caused the lock-up of the whole system. It will likely boil down to
a NFS-HA setup, if that's possible, but the question will be, how the
backend storage will be provided.

If anybody is interested in how my project is going, I will be happily
provide any information, as long as it fits to OmniOS. OmniOS got me
really hooked and I do like it a lot, but we do already have a RAC
setup, which makes an excellent choice for a cluster, so it could also
be, that the NFS shares might be served by those nodes. In the end
you'll always have to pick the tool, which is best suited for the job. ;)
