Solved it...

Stupid thing, of coarse...

I use a kvm switch to reach the console screen, and I had changed the keyboard from a usb keyboard to a ps2. So the problem must be in the kvm switch. As soon as I changed back to the original usb keyboard it worked again. Strange, since I saw no differencies in the caracters on the ps2 keyboard.

Got a small problem here:

I can log in as normal on ssh, and su to root without any problems. 

But I can't login as root directly at console/screen, but I can log in as normal user @screen, but not su to root...

What could have happened...?
