Robert Mustacchi of Joyent has been hard at work bringing up xhci/USB3 support for illumos. He's far enough along where he would like people to bang on it.
As we did with LX during the last bloody, I've put up an alternate bloody repo, which is bloody-repo + a-USB3-illumos-omnios. It may occasionally have additional illumos-omnios changes, but for the most part it should be matched up with whatever the current bloody build is.

Additionally, I have install media available from my own kebe.com <http://kebe.com/> webserver:

If you see problems, follow up on the illumos developer list per below.
And yes, I expect this to make it into this bloody cycle and for r151022, aka the next LTS.
