Hi all,
Today I switch storage controller in my Omnios 151014: sas1068e ->
sas2008 and smartd now refuses to start:
svcs -xv svc:/site/smartd:default
svc:/site/smartd:default (SMART monitoring service (smartd))
State: maintenance since January 28, 2017 05:56:12 PM CET
Reason: Restarting too quickly.

Impact: This service is not running.

Procedure used for the switch:
1) reboot into single user mode
2) zpool export tank
3) poweroff
4) switch controller and connect disks identical
5) boot into single user mode
6) zpool import tank
7) some tests which showed everything was working
8) reboot
