Strike that -- I think it was operator error on my part.

You can select multiple disk.  Here's a screenshot where I have:

After I press '0' to proceed, you'll see some useful output:



The installer just created a mirrored rpool.  This was stuff Kayak for PXE did already.  I just refactored it slightly and called into it from the new interactive installer bits.
