I think Kayak-for-ISO is good enough now to start putting it on the OmniOS Installation page. There is a stub for the new Kayak Interactive installer, which will be filled with more documentation and screen shots.

If you're already on bloody, please "pkg update (-r)" to the very latest: omnios-master-e2435f2.

There are some new and exciting things in this update, and not just the Kayak-based new interactive installer.

* USB3.0/XHCI support is now in OmniOS, via illumos. Thanks to Joyent for their efforts in getting this up. There may still be some quirks or bugs, but they will be tiny and not kernel-panicking. There's a specific set of Seagate drives that don't attach under USB3.0, for example, but that's being worked on. You can now enable USB3.0 on your motherboards after you update to this release!!!

* Intel XXV710 25Gig Ethernet support in the i40e driver.

* /dev/full support.

* Overlooked previously, inotify and eventfd devices now will appear in lipkg and ipkg zones.

Please visit the https://omnios.omniti.com/wiki.php/Installation page to see the new bloody ISO and USB images. This is still a bloody release, so things are in motion, and possibly not yet complete. This week I'll be regression-testing the PXE support for Kayak, to make sure I didn't break anything. This is still a release under development, in spite of the surprisingly smooth jumps to BSD Loader, Python2.7, and now Kayak for ISO.

Thank you for your continuing use and feedback!
Dan
