I think i am missing something though, because it seems that it is installed

#sudo pkg install gcc51
No updates necessary for this image.

It seems there is a gcc51 available in the catalog.

# pkg search gcc51
INDEX      ACTION VALUE                  PACKAGE
pkg.fmri   set    omnios/developer/gcc51 pkg:/developer/gcc51 at 5.1.0-0.151024


but when I list the packages, it doesn't show up

pkg list | grep gcc5
