Was this stable or bloody?  There were some recent changes to better
support the "MPT Skinny" firmware on HBAs like the M1015:

If you've got driver/storage/mr_sas at 0.5.11,5.11-0.151005 as of April
10, you should have these changes.  They do not exist in r151004.

However, lack of support should have made *all* the drives go missing,
not just some.  Seems I've heard of stuff like this before:
