I've been trying to upgrade my omnios installation from r151006 to r151008 since r151008 was released without any luck. I've been following the instructions to the letter and don't actually get
any errors during the process. During the "upgrade" about 3MB of something gets installed and after rebooting running pkg update completely fails. I've captured the steps I took during the
"upgrade":

Figuring something wasn't right I tried running "pkg update after rebooting and got the following mess:

This may indicate an overly constrained set of packages are installed.

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but have no idea of what that may be. I haven't built any zones yet and am wondering if the only way for me to get this upgrade to work is to reinstall. I see
that others were able to perform the upgrade so I'm sure it's something I did wrong at sometime which is causing the upgrade to fail. Has anyone run into thise and found a solution?
Frank
