[OmniOS-discuss] Problem upgrading

I don't like to reply to my own posts but I think that an update is in order. Yesterday I posted my issue on the omnios IRC channel asking for assistance and got immediate assistance from a
number of the people there. As it turns out I had a number of packages that I installed from the "ms.omniti" repository and that was intergering with the upgrade. I removed those packages and
the upgrade proceeded without issue.

I should mention that I'm not using omnios on the job but at home as a home server. Using zones I've been able to replace 7 linux machines with a single
omnios machine. Interestingly enough the single machine not only much more stable (OS not hardware) it performs better than the 7 individual machines.

Thanks again to all that assisted with getting the machine upgraded!

Frank
