well glassfish is a java application server, written in java. So everything said before in regards to running java applications will apply. As far as I know glassfish requires jdk 7, that is not bundle with current stable. There might be openjdk 7 available with the upcoming release by the end of october. However, it's no problem to download and run the oracle jdk 7, provided for solaris.

Thanks, and yeah, Steffen, I know all that, I just wondered if anyone had some experience of it on omni, and could share some of that to us...
