This bug only impacts users on case insensitive filesystems, so unless
you're running it on a zfs filesystem with casesensitivity= insensitive,
you're not going to be vulnerable to this issue on an illumos system...

Not that you shouldn't update anyway as a general precaution (and a big
thanks to Dan for making it available so quickly), but if for some reason
updating would be problematic it's probably not a crisis for you.
