[OmniOS-discuss] Who alters /etc/profile or /etc/.login on their boxes?

Don't want people freaking out. If we had NOT ALREADY removed machid(1), it woiuld be a very noticeable problem.  As it is, it's more of a "oh, there's a .new version."
