Hello OmniOS users,

We have back-ported recent driver updates to r151014 (LTS) and r151018 (Stable) regarding the following:

* New: i40e
* Updated: ixgbe

i40e(7D) introduces support for the Intel XL710 10/40 Gigabit Ethernet controller

ixgbe(7D) updates the existing Intel 10 Gigabit Ethernet driver to include support for the X550 PCIe card and X550EM embedded controller found in the Intel Xeon-D line of SoC chips.
